Presentation Evening

1. If you want to race.

Kart racing in Australia is controlled by the AKA (Australian Karting Association), so to race on kart tracks around Australia you must have an AKA competition licence. To get a licence, you must also be a member of a kart racing club.

2. If you just want to practice.

To practice on kart tracks around Australia you must have an AKA practice licence. These are cheaper than a competition licence. To get a practice licence, you must also be a member of a kart racing club.

3. If you want to participate in our Club Championship.

WKRC members participate in our Club Championship point score. The points you earn at each round will automatically be added to your championship point score. In 2006, points will be awarded for your grid position in the final and your finishing position in the final. After 5 rounds you drop your worst round. Drivers who share a kart and race in the same class can accumulate points toward the same championship point score.
